Train like An Athlete, why? Because it’s functional. Stick with me, I understand it’s cliche but as athletes, we train or should train in a way that will directly impact our performance. That’s what makes it functional. I mean, basketball players don’t need to work out like bodybuilders and vice versa.

To take it a step further; someone who's working a sedentary job while playing a semiprofessional sport, training program will look completely different from their colleague who may have another type of obligation after work.

I’m not a counselor nor a psychologist, what I do have is over two decades of experience. Learning different cultures, and living in foreign lands all while chasing a dream as a professional basketball player.
